Winners of BetterFi’s first potluck cook-off

The inaugural “Take a Bite out of Predatory Lending Potluck” was held Saturday, a fundraiser for BetterFi and a stand against predatory payday, title, and flex lending. Best Appetizer went to Empanadas by John and Kathy Solomon, Best Side went to Mashed Potatoes by Elise Anderson, Best Main Dish went to Pork and Apple Pie by Jess Wilson and Best Dessert went to Horchata by Jeremy Falls. Judges were Lisa Hobbs, Iva Russell and Bill Titus.
